Minimum possible is four: neck, arms, waist.
Those blue splotches could be paint, or a design on the shirt. We don’t have enough information to suggest definitively that they are not.
If we’re going to take that approach, there could be no holes at all.
7 comprising 2 arms, 1 neck, 1 waist 2 in the front and 1 in the back to let you see the blue background through the 2 front ones.
7 is what we were looking for on this question, but we’ve also had people suggest it could be 6, if the big hole in the back goes all the way down to join up with the waist hole.
And that starts us wondering about the definition of holes.
