    (I assume that human-made objects in orbit don’t count.)

    1. Well a moon is a natural satellite. No requirement is made for size.

      Human made objects don’t count, but any object orbiting earth counts.

      1. Well, in that case I will go for ‘scientists don’t know’. I imagine there could be all sorts of small bits of debris floating around Earth that we haven’t seen yet.

        After all space is big. Really big. And it is hard to map effectively.

        1. That’s exactly it. THe earth regualrly pulls various object into it’s orbit that are too small to track.
