Philippines
Romania
Finland
Iceland
Japan
(If I get 60% it will be a victory)
Well then you can consider that a win, because you got all but one.
It’s not Romania.
Philippines (A guess. It could be anywhere the Spanish went)
Albania (they had a Hoxha dictator)
Finland (the -en ending is a giveaway)
Iceland (they use the -dottir suffix as a matter of course)
Japan (Where else could it be?)
Yes the picture we used was of a sample of a Filipino passport, which uses the name De La Cruz as a default. Apparently Juan De La Cruz is the Filipino version of John Q. Public.
And well done for knowing about Enver Hoxha.
I recently watched the film Inside Man, which had Hoxha as a plot point.
(Good film, btw)

That is one obscure plot point.
