Nope. That’s the English way.
I haven’t checked with any of my German colleagues but since they normally pronounce our “V” as an “F” like in “Volkswagen” as “Folksvagen” , I suspect they would use ni-FE-a
The V/F differences in German are fairly subtle I guess.
