My first instinct is to say 14 February.
(Even though it should have been 14-15 April)
It was Valentine’s Day.
And I don’t think most people who watched it really cared about anniversaries of the sinking.
Depends on how you watch the film, I suppose.
I’m likely in a minority who saw it as a film about a ship sinking with a romance subplot rather than the other way around, but I reckon James Cameron is probably with me given his passions for undersea adventure – he doesn’t build submersibles for two, after all.
