There’s a story, although it might be an urban myth, that while trying to think of a name Baum looked at his dictionary which was in two parts. A-N and O-Z.
Pretty close. A filing cabinet was listed as A-G, H-N, and O-Z.
So it could have been the Merry Old Land of Ag.
