I think Jesse Owens’ 1936 time stood until the middle 1950s so I will say 20 years.
Jesse’s record wasn’t fully broken until the 50s, but many people equalled it and timings before the late 60s were only to tenths of a second.
There’s another holder that has held it for nearly as long in an age of much more accurate measurements.
