The longest footrace in the world is the Self-Transcendence Race founded in 1996 by Sri Chinmoy. It starts in Queens, New York.
Where does it finish, nearly 5,000km later?
The first new player to comment on the website with the correct answer wins a free drink at their next iQ Trivia show.
I won’t spoil the fun by saying where the finish is, but the person on the left of the picture is the 2012 male winner from Perth, Grahak Cunningham who took 43 days 10:36:39 to finish. The 2014 female winner was Sarah Barnett in 50 days 03:55:02 so Aussies (and Finns) do OK at it.
It finishes in Queens, it’s around the same block which includes a high school.
Yep. Lap after lap after lap for 5000 kilometres.
