The old schoolers would have spoken a fair amount of French.
I hope some of them spoke Spanish.
And Van Buren spoke Dutch.

But no President has ever spoken Spanish fluently (though that will almost certainly change some day).
And Van Buren spoke Dutch as his native language, but nobody else did.
