Is it about the size of a dog, a single bed, or and SUV?

A dog! It has to be so small because space is so big, and you cannot hear yourself scream.
Well if there was a dog the size of the Curiosity Rover, it would be the biggest dog I’ve ever seen.
The rovers are actually quite large, there are a lot of scientific equipment on them. A little smaller than a car, about 8-10ft on a side, so SUV sized.
Fun fact, the wheels of Curiosity spell out JPL on surface of Mars as it rolls along. Urban legend says JPL did it because NASA wouldn’t allow them to print any logos on the rover (JPL operates Curiosity), but actually, it is because there are no prominent landmarks on the surface of Mars, so the morse code allows the operators to estimate how far the rover has driven. I personally prefer the no logo reason though.
That is correct… and an interesting follow up fact.
