INTERESTING MOMENTS

When we asked a current events question about who was caring for the late Queen’s corgis, one team answered that it was Prince Andrew, perhaps because he was good at “grooming”.

As we were introducing a question about NBA player James Harden, one player said “he’s the guy with the huge beard”… just a split second before we asked what distinctive physical feature he was known for.

And a jackpot nearly went off when one team guessed correctly about an Australian animal, but spelled it “wichety grub”. We checked, and witchetty grub is preferred, but witchety grub and witjuti grub are also accepted spellings. And we are cleat that spelling counts in the jackpot round. So let this be a lesson that you should be careful what you write down in the jackpot round.

See you next week.
