A team of one entered the jackpot, and wrote down the correct answer… but decided not to bother handing it in. If you’re already in it, you REALLY don’t lose anything by having a crack.
A team who had never won at our trivia asked early in round 2 what would happen if the building needed to be evacuated? Would their first half lead be considered a win? We spent the next half hour expecting a mysterious fire alarm but nothing happened, and they did hold on to snag their first win by a single point.
And with last week’s leaders failing to notch another win, there was a change at the top of our quarterly tournament.
