INTERESTING MOMENTS

We have a team that always guesses Dua Lipa when they hear a modern female singer they don’t know. And they were thrilled that it paid off.

Someone mistook the film Wedding Crashers for Schindler’s List. That holocaust movie would have had a VERY different tone.

Julia Louis Dreyfus was mistaken for Julia Gillard. That would have made both Seinfeld and Prime Ministers question time very different.

And our leaders are still on top, but with a lower scoring win this week they lost their lead on highest average.

The Prime Minister’s backup is the Depooty Prime Minister

Any embarrassingly mispronounced words will get you a bonus point.

Have an interesting week.

We love it when a team comes last in trivia, still chooses to go in for the jackpot… and then wins it.

It doesn’t matter how you do on the quiz. The jackpot is entirely separate. You only need to know one thing, and you never know when you’re going to get lucky.

INTERESTING MOMENTS

We played a clip of Return to Innocence by Enigma, and one team, helped considerably by their level of alcohol consumption, joined in enthusiastically with the native chanting… only to find out later that the chanting was actually about getting drunk.

What animal learned to use a stick? A stick insect.

We really owe a shout out to Hannah, who regularly wins our trivia in Dee Why, but isn’t allowed to win because she works there. But she does better than entire teams, and she does so while working behind the bar.

And there were some new winners, but no change at the very top of the leaderboard.

Team Name Bonus Point – Week of 25 January 2026

Last week we asked you to use your team name to tell us what jobs were safe from AI.

This week we want your team names to be a job you think AI actually should do.

CEO of AI company

Gossip columnist, because they’re already making things up

Data entry, because it already knows it all anyway

Finance bro. It has the same lack of humanity but won’t sexually harass colleagues

Telemarketing scammer

Sky News commentator

Let us know what job you’d like AI to take over for a bonus point this week.

Have an interesting week.
