I have never seen the film (its reputation preceded it) but to my eyes this potted summary sounds like Casablanca to me.
Yeah, don’t bother seeing it.
I was about 15 minutes in when I thought to myself, “hang on, this is just Casablanca, except Humphrey Bogart has a huge rack.”
