80% had proper hand hygiene, compared to 63% of doctors.

Doctors seem to pay less attention.
This is not surprising – from what I have seen of hospitals it is the nurses who literally get their hands dirty more often. Much more physical interaction with patients, bedding, instruments and so on.
And I’ve heard doctors say that doctors are filthy.
