I imagine that you could, but I dont think it would be terribly healthy
If you could, it would not be easy. They’re designed to not be easy to pull out so they don’t come out accidentally.
But if you did, you would probably wreck your teeth.
It’s much smarter to just use your hands.
It is probably possible but not easy to pull the pin, even on the old WW II style one shown. To activate the timer you have to release the “Spoon” which the pin or your hand holds in and should only be released as you throw it. I doubt that it would be safe to be anywhere near the particular person in the picture.
