Team Name Bonus Point – Week of 3 May 2020

There are a lot of great films out there in which characters don’t behave like they would if they were living in a world facing a deadly pandemic.

This week we want you to fix that.

With your team name, we want you to change a film plot to make it appropriate for our current situation.

Lord of the Rings: Sauron is defeated easily because Mordor doesn’t practice social distancing

Four Weddings and a Funeral (none of which had anyone in attendance)

Home Alone: Kevin just coughs in the direction of the burglars as they enter the house and they back off

Finding Nemo: Nemo had a contact tracing app installed, and is found in 5 minutes

Star Wars: Basically the same film, but with more force choking from a distance

Jaws: The beach was already closed

Give us a Coronavirus compliant film plot for a bonus point.

Have an interesting week.

Team Name Bonus Point – Week of 1 December 2019

Movies tend to spend a lot of time on the lives of the main characters.

This week we’re looking at minor characters.

For your team name, we want you to re-title a film or TV series to focus on a minor character.

The Assassination of Greedo by the Coward Han Solo

Vernon Dursley and the Ungrateful Nephew

Anything that re-titles a film or TV series to focus on a minor character will get a bonus point.

Team Name Bonus Point – Week of 10 November 2019

We’re dealing with films this week.

Specifically, with your team name, tell us what is always shown unrealistically in films?

Ugly people in movies are better looking than most people in real life.

Nobody ever says goodbye on the phone.

Shooting hundreds of bullets without having to reload.

When divorced couples get back together. Come on! You got divorced for a reason!

Silencers aren’t silent in real life.

Literally anything about hacking.

Anything that is wildly unrealistic about movies will get you a bonus point.

Have an interesting week.

Team Name Bonus Point – Week of 21 May 2017

We’re accustomed to thinking about films from the point of view of the main character.

This week we want you to think about films from the point of view of other characters.

It can be the villain, a sidekick, or a minor character in the background, but if you make your team name a film title from the point of view of someone other than the main character, you will get a bonus point.

Judas Superstar

Ferris Bueller’s Flagrant Truancy

The Ungrateful Humans who Aren’t Content to Live in a Computer Generated Utopia

Some Muscular Austrian Dude Left me Paralysed
