Last week when asked for the title of a song, one team said it was the song our host lost his virginity to. It was a song that was released when he was 10. This we they used the same joke answer about a song that was released when he was 43.
One team brought their 10 year old son along… which was great, except that the special subject was 80s Porn Stars.
When he found out the jackpot answer was Homeland, one player exclaimed “I loved Homeland”, though he couldn’t remember the names of any episodes.

We asked what people often leave for Santa’s reindeer that they shouldn’t, and got responses of cocaine, plutonium, and guns. Which is… not wrong, but makes us concerned that someone has been leaving cocaine, plutonium, and guns for Santa’s reindeer.
When one of our hosts played Country Roads by John Denver on a night when we were having audio difficulties, the entire room joined in and sang along. Normally we advise people not to sing the answers, but on a song like that, we’re pretty sure everyone knew it anyway.
One of our teams who were in the minority on the dilemma question about wearing boxing gloves for a year in exchange for a large cash payment made up a long list of reasons why the majority was wrong.

And our quarterly tournament is getting close to the business end, and there’s still a lot that can happen both on total points and average.
